Living and Entertainment
  An 11 metre by 8 metre room with 5 metre cathedral ceiling is is your central living area. Glass walls on two sides esure unintrrrupted views outwards to the surrounding hills or inward to the black pebble pool and subtropical courtyard.
Get snug amongst the feather filled cushions of the leather lounge or dine at the formal cedar table. You may prefer breakfast at the more intimate hard rock maple table situated to enjoy the morning sunshine.
Enjoy good conversation, watch television, listen to music, read a book (please take advantage of the library but some of our books are very important to us so please do not take them with you), play scabble or backgammon or just enjoy a drink - what ever you choose the setting will not disappoint!
   
Outside areas
  Extensive decking links the pavilions and surrounds the living areas so that you can enjoy the fresh air in almost any weather.
The free form pool is deep and inviting. It complies with rural safety regulations but is unfenced from the deck allowing you to plunge in and out with ease - but please be careful especially if you are in party mood!
Large outdoor dining tables are on two decks for you to vary your view or follow the sun. The stainless steel bar-b-q is on pnuematic tyres so can easily be moved to to your choice of dining area.
Outdoor speakers on the on east and west decks ensures your favourite music will be with you as you move from the living rooms and kitchen to the decks.
   
Kitchen
  Preparing hot or cold gourmet breakfasts will be a pleasure with produce from the well stocked fridge and pantry included in your tariff.
There is a comprehensive range of spices, condiments and sauces that you are welcome to use if you decide to cook dinner.
Quality teas and plunger coffee is supplied.
As you would expect all the normal features such as wall oven, griller, toaster, gas hotplates, double dishwasher, fridge, walk in pantry etc are available.
The unique curved 'leaning height' bar between the kitchen and living area means that even if preparing food you are not excluded from the conversation or sharing the pre dinner drinks.
   
Laundry
  In case you need anything washed or ironed it will be organised by our on site manager - complimentary of course but please don't save up all your washing for your holiday! The fully equipped laundry with detergent, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board is at your disposal should you wish to use it yourself.
   
Macadamia Nuts and Alpacas
  During your stay you are welcome to all the macadamias you can eat - complimentary of course!
The Residence and gardens are well separated from the working part of the macadamia orchard. You may at any time stroll anywhere on the property amongst the shady macadamia trees or rainforest gullies. If you wish to learn more about the growing of the now world famous 'Queensland' nut feel free to ask the manager to arrange a short tour of the working part of the property.
The alpacas, especially if there are any young ones, are a delight to watch in the front paddock. They will be very appreciative if you choose to give them a treat from their normal grass diet.
 
Gym
  Feeling energetic but no one wants to go walking with you? A professional rowing machine is available either on the deck, so you can soak up the views while you exercise, or in the shed.
